Also, did I mention Cafe Rio?
These are a few things, in no particular order, that I am missing quite terribly. I may or may not have made a paper chain a week or so ago to count down the days till we come home. 2 weeks, 4 days. I would calculate it in hours or minutes, but frankly that’s getting a little weird.
We went to Nashville last week, got back Tuesday. It was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Caleb did really well in his competition. He got 4th in Hospitality Management and 5th in Future Business Teacher. The business teacher one is kind of a big deal, so I’m really impressed with him. he’s going to be a great teacher.
I’ll be posting pictures of our trip soon. I just wanted to let you know some things that I won’t be taking for granted once we get home.. Our first mission will be to Cafe Rio. Mmmmmm
Just went to Cafe Rio last weekend and thought of you. Can’t wait for you to come home! We’ve really missed you.
Did you have a Microwave at all? If not, that is just like camping. How did you do it!
Ah, I miss Cafe Rio myself. It finally came to Manhattan Beach a couple months before we moved. I am praying it comes up this way, too. Excited to see you in August! Can’t wait.
No microwave at all. It has definitely been interesting, we are two people that eat mostly microwavable food. I’ve learned to use the oven a lot more than I ever have. Luckily we have air conditioning, so I don’t die from the heat.
I’m so jealous! I wish we were home. We have to go get Cafe Rio and have a big game night when we get back. I’ll maybe even consider playing acquire… Maybe.
Julia, when do you get into town, and how long do you get to stay?
